That updater fixed a bug that kept the iPhone5 from doing OTA updates... once that bug gets fixed with the updater, the rest of the update can be installed OTA.

Installing it now..... Lets hope the Exchange calendar issue is fixed. I needed to send a global message to my user base instructing them not to update, and if they did not to use the iPhone to do any calendering!

Downloaded and installed... Wifi connectivity still seems to be sketchy (at my work wifi which is WPA2 encrypted), something that wasn't an issue on 4S and/or 5.1.1... Per the release notes, it's been improved, so we'll see how well it works in the next few days...

Exchange fix is much needed - glad it's part of this update

Haven't noticed any other major changes...

Enjoy that... the guy responsible for that stuff is out, and a guy that doesn't like that kind of stuff is now in charge of human interface...

And for the developers in the crowd... just saw on Twitter: iOS 6.1 beta 1. Developers, start your downloads.

Just updated. Really hope this update doesn't, in some way, affect battery life. I've been extremely impressed with mine on the iPhone 5 so far.

DL and install took about 10 mins.
Although it wasn't mentioned, I hope it fixes Auto-Lock not auto-locking and dupe notifications of emails.

I'm also having this problem on my phone. I updated my son's phone but his Facebook works fine. I have uninstalled Facebook and rebooted the phone. Any other ideas out there? Thx!

Facebook has always had wonky iOS apps... the latest is/was better... but it’s still 50/50 crapshoot.

You'd think they'd have repaired the auto brightness on the 4S

My girlfriend and I both updated to 6.0.1 this afternoon on our AT&T 16GB iPhone 5's. Neither of us had problems with the Facebook app before the iOS update. Afterwards, mine is fine, but her Facebook app crashes after opening. Not immediately, but as soon as she starts to scroll down the screen.
