Finally .me email syncs properly?

I just noticed this the other day that if you delete .me email on another mail application, say Outlook, and then look at the iPhone a few seconds later, the email is deleted even if you didn't open up the mail app on the iPhone.

It has never done this before iOS 6. Anyone else notice this too or am I the only one?

Yes., but mine did the same thing prior to installing iOS 6. My MacBook, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S are all in sync.

So if you deleted an email on the Macbook and didn't open Mail on the iPhone, the mail icon would reflect a deleted email? Seems nobody had this happen prior to iOS 6. My iPad won't do this and it's on iOS 5.

Saw this on Macrumors and for me it does not work. I have an iPhone 5, iPad 2 (on iOS 6) and mountain lion 10.8.2 and when I read or delete a @me.com message on my MBP it never updates the mail.app on either iOS device w/o opening up the app.

Others I know say the same thing.
