Podcast Playlists

in iOS 5, I used to be able to create a playlist for podcasts so I could listen to them in a certain order. It will let me do this in iTunes as usual but it won't transfer to my phone. I know there is now a podcast app but that only lets you listen to it within each show. I like a more random listen. Am I missing something?

The new Podcasts app is slightly better, but still sucks. There are several better ones in the App Store. I think that Dreamcast is the best. There is also Podcaster and Instacast.

I have Stitcher but it's the same problem. I can listen to the episodes within a podcast but it doesn't allow me to order the episodes regardless of the podcast. In other words, how do I create a playlist for my podcasts?
