keyboard trick still there?

This does not seem to work on iOS 6 on my iPad 3. Is there something that needs to be set up, can't find anything....?

I still get it, but I have to slide my finger up after holding the key down. Before, I could just hold the key down. I am NOT happy about this change!

I'm not seeing any change. You've always had to tap/hold and then slide to your choice - unless you wanted the first in a series of choices. The quote is with the ?/. on the iPad.
