Does Apple Update OS Versions?

Hello!

I will be making the switch from BB to Apple - I know... I am one of the last to do so!

I was just wondering if Apple occasionally updates the current OS or would this be it until iOS7? I am wondering if based on history that they may update certain elements of iOS6 in the coming months, such as the map program, Siri and other elements. Coming from BB, the OS is updated occasionally (leaked and official versions), however I was not sure if that is the case with Apple.

Yes they do periodic updates. You can update your device wirelessly thru a system update option in settings.

You will actually get a notification when an update is available.
