passbook

i open passbook and gives a link to the app store. when i tap the link i get "unable to connect to app store"

I just logged into it a minute ago and there were about 7 or 8 apps listed (none of which were Starbucks - this surprised me). I think they are in the process of adding all the apps now, so I'm thinking it'll probably be spotty for a few days.

I've gotten Target and Fandango to add to my passbook. The target app just got the update today so that I can add it to passbook, so all of the other apps probably need to get updated too

I signed up for the mobile coupons in the target app and it had an option to add to passbook. Don't have any gift cards but I'm sure it would have the option too if I added them under My Giftcards in the app

There were some things on the web that I read an hour or so ago. Go to settings->general->date & time turn off automatically, then change the time to the same date but next year (2013) then run passbook and some apps will show up. Download those apps and then go back and set your time back to automatic. Keep in mind there won't be many apps to choose from.

It seems like you need to download apps they work w passport. I was hoping it could be done in passport without having to download all the apps.....

i just tried that- someone mentioned that live nation worked with it so I downloaded and signed up- still not showing up

The fandango one only shows up if you buy tickets to a movie. The passbook option is at the bottom of the confirmation page

I spoke to Apple, you have to wait until the app developers make the apps compatible with Passbook (which to me its ridiculous, since they knew today was launch day).

This works but you left out to double click home button to close the passbook app in the background after setting year to 2013, then reopen the app. Works like a charm. All the apps that work with passbook are listed.

Has anyone figured out how to get the account into passbook? I've tried Target, United, and Starbucks and do not see anything.This is madening! I managed to get a Target coupon into passbook but thats all!

Passbook only tells me what types of things I can add, and show an AppStore button. When I select an app, such as Fandango or Target, that store's app installed and shows as a typical icon, it does not show at all. lol
