How to upgrade to iOS6 release from the beta?

Hi all,

I can't remember how it went with iOS5. I'm currently running the last beta on my iPhone (haven't installed the GM), will iTunes offer to do the full restore to the released version, or do I need to download/install the GM myself?

I have the same issue. I upgraded to beta 4 but didn't the GM. Now when I connect to iTunes it says that I'm on the current version but the build number is different from the final release. Can anyone shed some light onto how I can get the current version.

Backup in iTunes and then hit the restore button. When it comes back load up the backup and you are on the current version.

i'm having the same issue, but when i go to restore, it says "there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone. The requested resource was not found" what should i do?

I keep getting the attached error when I try and restore. I followed all the directions when I clicked more information. Everything is up to date. How do I go around this?
