The iTunes update on my 4S was quick & painless. Now I'm in the process of setting it up like new.

I don't know if I like the new fuctionality of the maps app. It doesn't allow you to say whether you are driving, walking or taking transit. It is assuming you are driving... Anybody know how to change this?
