I am tracking 11 hours usage and 2 days standby on iPad 3. 4S gets 6+ hours of usage on full charge. It will last me the full day.

i think you said in a previous post that you restored from a backup. did you load all of your apps, previous to the beta, back on too?

For the first beta, I obviously had to restore via .ipsw. I then loaded my 5.1.1 backup which then automatically loaded my apps back on. Then for beta 2, I just did the OTA update.

I'm finding beta 3 battery life to be worse than beta 2. Draining faster. About equal to my GNex, which was not the case with beta 2. Not a big deal, since we are still in beta mode. But noticing quite a bit worse battery life on my 4S with beta 3 than with beta 2.

My battery has been excellent on iPad 3 and 4S

try Resetting All Settings and then fully charge your device. i too was having a slight battery drain until i did this

now it is definitely comparable to when i was using 5.1.1 (with my typical usage)

i see no reason to wipe all my settings.... like i said, didn't do anything and beta 2 was great on battery... beta 3 isn't so good, but I accept it's a beta.... i'm not going to wipe stuff clean just for that... as my iphone is now my secondary device i'm sad to say (GNex running JB 4.1.1 now primary)... but i will let it drain completely then give it a full overnight charge to cycle the battery...

As per others in this thread I saw big improvements in beta 2 in terms of battery performance. Unfortunately it's back to beta 1 levels with beta 3.... Not terrible by any means but not as good as beta 2 or 5.1.1

Beta 3 battery performance is the same for me as in 5.0, 5.1, 6.0 beta 1, 2 and now. iOS 5 beta 5 is still the best for me ever. Odd.

Beta 3's battery life isn't quite as good as it was in 2. It's not really anything to complain about, but it is noticeable.
