What do you want to see in iOS 6?
Just as the title asks, what do you want to see in iOS 6?

No more Newstand
Excellent battery life
Profiles like BB
Ability to block specific numbers and texts."Balls!" said the Queen, "if I had them I'd be King!" - 03-09-2012, 10:40 AM #3
A Blackberry style bedside "manner mode" that I can have activate by time of day/charging status... Something like SBSettings... and incoming call filtering abilities - perhaps an app store approved version of iBlacklist.

-Siri control for settings
-Notification Center control for settings (a la SBSettings)
-Better photostream management, especially the ability to completely delete photos
-One surprise that makes me say, "wow". - 03-09-2012, 12:56 PM #6
why does it matter? more than likely will not happen anyways..
like i'm really sure someone was waiting for a permanent Camera on the Lockscreen--that activates by sliding up!

Allow me to set notification tones for 3rd party apps. It was easily implemented with PushTone with a
jailbreak. So obviously set tones that an app already comes with can be overridden. I'd rather have this in
the next 5.1.x update instead of iOS 6 - 03-09-2012, 04:18 PM #9

I'd like to see Siri made useful in Australia. Sooner rather than later too.

I don't consider those widgets, more like clutter in the notification center. It would be nice to be able to enable widgets for 3rd party apps like ESPN, Pandora, TWC, etc. On the Springboard and lockscreen. It's the only big thing missing from iOS, if they don't add widgets with iOS 6, what else is there to add?

- Set notifications for each app.
- More Siri integration.
- More battery improvements.
- Ability to put Newsstand into a folder."Women who strive to be equal to men lack ambition." - Anonymous

- gesture based UI on the iPhone (like the gestures on iPad - no home button needed)
- baked-in turn by turn GPS
- notification center pull-down on the lock screenCurrent Apple Devices : MacBook Pro 13" (i7-2012) | iPhone 5 White 64gb (VZ) | iPad mini 64gb White WiFi | iPad (gen3) 64gb White (VZ) | iPod Classic 160gb | Apple TV | Mac mini (2011) - 03-10-2012, 08:22 PM #22

The home screen on 1st gen iPhone was a revolution. Unchanged in 5 years... It's now behind the pack. Page after page of apps is just ridiculous. And putting them in folders makes it tough for the eye to recognize quickly what to tap on because all folders look alike. Frankly it needs a whole overhaul for UI and organization. Fine, have it default to classic UI. But let people customize. I want widgets showing me frequently needed info, and the ability to organize as I see fit.

Improvements to Notification Center:
- API for creating 3rd party widgets (like the Stock and Weather widgets)
- Setting to have Notification Center already opened when phone is unlocked
- Setting to have Notification Center opened on Lock Screen
- Setting to show Reminders without due dates or alarms
Improvements to Calendar app:
- Copy the Windows Phone 7 calendar. Seriously, just copy it or license it or whatever. It's better than Apple's calendar app.
- Show due and overdue Reminders on Calendar List view.
