clearing app data

How can I clear app data? For example, Tweetbot is 10.7mb but in my usage screen it is listed as 634.23mb. I know how to clear the cache in Tweetbot, I just used this app as an example. iTunes reports that I have 6.3mb in apps, but I know for a fact that the size of the apps don't add up to that.

I too have this probelm. I also have about a gigabyte of space which just miscellaneously says other. Ive found that clearing the history and cookies in safari help to clear this up a tiny bit but still looking for help.

The only way I know of is to delete the app and reinstall it.

I agree with nolescream... unless you are jailbroken, the only way you can clear the app data is to uninstall the app.
