I have various epub books from a Sony e-Reader. My question refers to "sync collections." Is there a way to sync bookmarks, page last read/position in book on epub books that were imported via iTunes/email?

I'm assuming this feature is only for books purchased through iBooks.

Is this feature available in the Kindle app? I don't have a kindle so I'm not too sure how to upload my collection of books to there though.
