iOS 5 Inbox still says .mac?

Since updating to iOS 5 I noticed that my mailbox name changed on my iPhone 3GS to iCloud but still says .Mac on my iPod Touch 4g. Is there any way to change that?

delete the account, make sure you're updated and then sign in using your iCloud account

It is my iCloud account, but I've been using my @mac email address for ages and haven't used @me yet... should that matter?
