It worked fine for me. Took about 10 minutes total maybe from download to ready to use again.

I did both my iPad2 and my iPhone 4S... both went quickly and no issues to report.

I too did it on both my 4S and my iPad 2. Both went very well. I love being able to update and not be tethered to iTunes at my desk. Took 10-15 on each device and went without a hitch.

Now all we have to hope for is that it helps battery life!

I love having OTA updates but dislike needing WiFi. I don't have wireless at work so I can't update until late tonight

Did OTA delta on my iPad 1. Said it was 50mb. Took 4 minutes to download and then about 3 minutes to reboot. No problems at all.

Finished updating my 4S at work once I got connected to WiFi again. Now I'm updating my iPad 2 OTA... Only issue I had with my 4S was that it wouldn't finish the download till I connected to my wall charger because it said my battery was less than 50%.

I know what you mean. I think Apple should just post a warning about the download and data usage and offer a choice whether a person wants to continue with the download or wait till they are on WiFi. I have an unlimited data plan so I'm not worried about my usage.

Updated a 4S, a 3GS and an iPad all OTA with no problems. I wouldn't even consider an iTunes update/restore from now on unless I was restoring "as new" for some reason...

Run out to Starbucks for a quick coffee and do the update. I did that and it took like 15 minutes...didn't even get to finish my coffee.

I did and all went well. No issues, took under 10 minutes. Although I didn't have any issues with my replacement 4S...
