ITunes "Waiting to Copy Files" Sync Issue

Since updating to the 4S when I do a wired sync with iTunes it will go through all the steps and on the last one I get the message "Waiting to Copy Files". This last step can last hours and has since in my last five tries never stopped and completed on it's own. I also cannot tell what it's copying. Has this been happening to anyone else, does anyone know of a fix? Any help would be appreciated. I'm running Windows Vista 32bit, iTunes 10.5 and syncing a 32GB 4S on 5.0.
