Refresh or Sync Button in Contacts and Calendar
Whats he little arrow circle sync or refresh button all about in Contact and Calendar now? I press it and the data spinner appears to do somnething but what?
P.S I've turned off iCloud backups so it's not doing a wireless sync with anything as my laptop is also off! Anyone know waht it is? - 10-17-2011, 03:47 PM #2
It's to manually refresh / sync calendar and contact entries from iCloud.

So I take it that it's doing nothing if I'm not using iCloud? Was just worried that it was going to overwrite my contacts or calendar entries. I've had so many occasions where I've rebooted the phone and it's lost all my settings or the manually managed tick box has somehow unticked iteself in itunes and all my music and videos gone! Not even a warning to say am I sure I want to do this?!
Thanks for the answer though! - 01-27-2013, 06:20 PM #4

Cheryl, you're looking at a two year old thread. Unless you're simply a spammer in waiting, you might want to look elsewhere.
