Help: Won't sync

I'm sorry if this has already been posted. I updated my 3GS this morning, wiped everything but when I connected to my PC this evening it updated all my apps and music. I've just done my husbands and it just won't sync (this is using a cable, have tried wifi and it does the same) It says it is doing but its over very quickly and nothing has transferred to his iPhone 4. Can anybody help?

Sounds like his sync settings are different than yours. When it's plugged in, check all the options regarding syncing, especially under each category (Apps, Music, Photos, etc.) Is it an account and a computer he usually syncs with?
