camera roll missing after ios5 update

Im new to this so I apologise in advance if I have done it wrong
I updated to IOS 5 yesterday and now all my camera roll photos are missing! Everything was backed up.
The strange thing is that they are still coming up as contact pictures so must be still there somewhere :s . Any ideas please ???

I noticed the same thing.

What I have found is pictures that are taken since the upgrade will appear in the camera roll as normal using the shortcut in the camera link.

Worry not the others are there, you just need to use the photo application to view the camera roll and not the link in the camera app.

Thanx for your reply. I cant access the photos in any of the places u mentioned though.
Its frustrating because I usually take the pics off my phone and put them onto the pc straight after our holiday and this time i didnt
