Error -50 while attempting restore

Hi all, updating to ios5, got as far as restoring my apps, then it states "unable to complete restore, error -50". I did take the time to google that, and according to apple it's a timeout problem. I've restarted, changed USB ports, and am not running any security programs that could interfere.. my net connection is fast and reliable.. I just want my picutres back on my phone! (I also had to update my itunes to allow the update.. does that effect anything?)

Restore error 50

Hey there just be happy it is only your pictures. I lost all of my contacts and every last bit of data. Apple is not being very nice either they want me to purchase apple care to fix a problem with their software update. Did you figure out how to remedy? Or am I just pretty much hosed?
