iOS5 using more RAM than iOS4, seems around 40-50 less mb's of ram available
What kind of available ram are you guys seeing with everything closed in multi-tasker? I was getting 330-340 free all day but after ios5 GM it sets at the highest 308 and usually 290-300 mb's. I'm hoping its just me or a hard reboot will fix that issue. I'm thinking it has to do with notification center even when only a few apps are turned on. I'm a huge fan of RAM and not liking so much being taken up. What are you guys seeing?

On my 3GS after a respring and "freeing memory" a few times using OmniStat I got up to almost 100MB of free RAM. Prior to 5.0GM, I was on 4.1 and could get 140MB free. I don't mind too much because the iOS in general seems much faster and my apps load and operate much faster as well. Even if it does take up more resources it seems to for a reason with my 3GS.
It will be interesting though once I start loading more cydia apps on to it. Right now I just have the BiteSMS beta installed from cydia and OmniStat. So far I am happy with the performance.
