So I'm wondering how do you guys load up the betas of iOS 5? Since it's iOS 5 do you go back to 4.3.3 each time or do you just go from beta 1 to beta 2? It does a reload of the OS so does it even matter? When I went to beta 1 on my iPad I restored from a 4.3.3 backup and had little errors. I thought I would try to do a fresh installation and some of the minor bugs went away. I'm still not on beta 2 yet, maybe this weekend. So I've been thinking maybe I'll go back to 4.3.3 and then go to beta 2. Just curious:D

Pretty much, I upgraded from b1 to b2. Restored with my b1 back up and I noticed my iPhone 4 wouldn't get texts, only MMS? This was with text messages and iMessage, I got confused so i restored b2 as a fresh installation and its working good.

I had issues going from beta 1 to beta 2. Mainly I kept being asked for my Apple ID. I did a fresh install without restoring from backup and it works perfectly. I did have one glitch. My text messages wouldn't alert until I unlocked my phone. A hard reset (power + home) solved that. Since then everything has been great.

I had planned to go to 4.3.3 until this weekend when I go to beta 2. However damn I'm missing all my iOS 5 features so I think I'm going to back to beta 1.

I do a wipe on my iPad instead of restoring with my backup. It makes my iPad have tons of bugs if I restore from backup. So I wipe my iPad when I restore. And I restore through iTunes because I don't have a Mac. The recommended way is Xcode.
