iOS 10 on iPhone 5 & iPhone 5s

I have a question for users that have upgraded their iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s to iOS 10 and that is how well does it perform and is it even worth upgrading?

I am looking to check out iOS on a cheap device and I currently can't afford anything better than a 5s, but would still like to know what version of iOS should I stick with if I go for it.

I have a 5S that I just gave to a friend that was runnin iOS 10. It seemed plenty snappy to me.

I upgraded my youngest son's iPhone 5S months to iOS 10 and subsequent upgrades before he got an iPhone 6S, and they all worked exceptionally well with it.
