Re: iOS 10.3.3 Public Beta 1 available

So, for those that installed, how is it running?

Also, why isn't this thread a sticky?

Running great! No hiccups for me. Battery seems par to other versions, but not negative.

My battery was awful and I mean awful! Rolled back to 10.3.2 and I'm back to normal think I'll just wait until iOS 11

Well I finally succumbed to that little red dot on my settings icon, pestering me to update ;)

Beta 1 seems good for me. No noticeable difference in battery or performance.

I have to agree, I've had no issues. It seems fast, stable and battery life is unchanged or even slightly better.

Anyone having Bluetooth issues? I'm now having folks telling me I'm sounding grainy and distant, compared to being on 10.3.2 which worked flawlessly.

Is it safe to say that the 10.3 betas are dead now because the 11 betas began?

No, Apple will release them both. Apple will keep releasing updates for iOS 10.3 as long as they think is necessary. Think about security, vulnerabilities and such.

Even after iOS 11 will become available for everybody, iOS 10 will get updates, as the iPhones 5 and 5C will not get iOS 11.

Maybe, or maybe not. The last iOS 9 update was 9.3.5, last August, and there have been no new updates since iOS 10 was released. 9.3.5 is the last release for iPhone 4s, iPad 3, iPad Mini, iPad 2, and the iPod Touch 5G, so these devices have had no security updates in 9 months.

I guess it has everything to do with the severity of a vulnerability.
iPhone 5 will be 5 years old this September and I personally think that Apple does a tremendous job with having supported it for those 5 years.
Yes they could support it longer, but it’s all about the market share.
If the iPhone has a market share of less than 5 percent then I don’t think Apple is being unreasonable by stopping support for it.
