Bluetooth audio/video issue

I have a strange issue while watching any type of video with the audio playing through Bluetooth; the audio and video are out of sync and there's about a 1 second delay in the audio. This happens with both my iPhone and iPad on iOS 10 and happens with all types of video. I've noticed it while playing the audio through my car's Bluetooth and through my Bluetooth headphones. Does anyone know why it does this, or if there's a fix?

I don't know what to tell you. I mean, I've yet to experience what you've described. I've watched via on both my iPhone and iPad Pro while connected to Bluetooth with my QC-35 headset and the audio and video are synchronized.
