How soon after the iPhone 7 announcement is iOS 10 out? I can't remember how soon Apple typically released previous versions of iOS

The public release is the week after. I'm assuming it'll be the 13th or 14th.

I usually wait until peeps write about all of their problems and wait until a update to fixes is out.

That's up to you. I've been running iOS 10 since the first public beta and it's pretty darn solid. I'm really starting to like the updated notification behavior and widgets, and I think that lots of developers will take advantage of the tighter integration.
