If not, any estimation?

Yes. You gain performance and storage space. Don't forget to do a backup with iTunes, though.

I heard that yesterday on the Bob and Tom Show. Apparently, she was annoyed because Siri was mispronouncing her name. So she called Tim Cook directly to complain! Geesh!

The release date for ios 10 is sometime in the fall. However, the beta already came out for those interested in trying.

Well, fame has it's privileges. At least is was something sort of reasonable this time, not like telling Google to remove all pics of her Malibu home.

She said Tim told her it would be done in the next update. She asked when that might be, and he may have said something like 'by the end of September' and that's where she came up with the 30th.

Now maybe she'll buy a Watch to go with her phone.

Soon! There's a Apple Event on September 7. iOS 10 will be announced and probably released the same day after the event is over, or in the next couple of days. It's usually released a few days or a week before the newest iPhone ships because all the activations of new phones will hit Apple's servers.

I always do a manual back up after it does the normal backup thing when you first plug in the phone to your computer. I swear there was one time I didn't do a manual backup and it didn't have some of my apps or music or something after I did my restore.

If I had to guess....I would say iOS 10 next week or the following week after the September 7 Apple Event in San Francisco.
