Default Feedback on deleting pre-installed apps

With the new iOS 10, one of the features is deleting pre-installed apps. I've taken the Tips app out, useless that it is. I am sorely tempted to pull out the default Podcasts app, and use a decent replacement, but before I do that I was just wondering if anyone else has deleted many of the default apps? If so, has it been a fairly painless process?

I've deleted Tips, Reminders, Calendar, and Weather. It's been a painless process. If you ever need any of the stock apps back you can install them through App Store.

Do they come back with a hard reset?
I deleted stocks, weather, tips, videos, and home.

A hard reset--as in holding down the sleep/wake button and the home button until your device restarts--doesn't bring back deleted stock apps. I'm sure restoring and setting up as new would. What I'm unclear about is if restoring from an iCloud or iTunes backup would bring back stock apps. Nonetheless, deleting them is as simple as deleting any other app. It's no big deal either way.

I deleted a few. Not sure why. Didn't bother me over in the folder.

Same here. I still have a folder full of Apple apps that I rarely use, it just doesn't have as many apps in it as it used to.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I do recall reading somewhere Apple suggesting that deleting apps could have knock on effects. I'm gonna take the Podcasts app off and see how it goes.

After I'm done updating my Watch, I'll update my iPhone to Dev beta 3 and see whether or not a screenshot is taken when rebooting the device.

Update: Rebooting the device still results in a screenshot being taken first.
