Messages app on OS10 doesn't receive all the messages as iPad & iPhone???

Trying to figure out why Messages on my iMac doesn't get all the messages I receive on my iPhone & iPad?? Not sure how to troubleshoot???

On the phone you are going to get EVERYTHING, but on the iPad and Mac you will probably only get messages from OTHER iMessenger users. Regular texts from Android, Windows, BlackBerry (are there any of us left, LOL), and "feature" phone users won't come to the Mac or iPad.

Is this just the case with the beta? I don't have iOS 10 on my iPad. With iOS 9 all my messages come through on my iPad.
