I have been using it since the second developer beta. Personally I recommend it. There are some glitches here and there but I also use insider preview for my lumia and I am used to some bugs. It works well and surprisingly so and it is something I recommend people to jump on soon.

My phone got hot the other day while trying to charge it, play Pokmon Go, and tether my son's iPod. Screen dimmed there, like you said. Once I took one of those away (took off the battery case that was charging it) the screen eventually returned to normal. The updates take some processing power and can cause the phone to heat, but I'm sure it would be normal by now.

Another option is to reset settings (not erase and reset, just a simple reset). Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset all settings

You'll need to redo some things like acknowledge if you want notifications, accept/decline location, etc., but this can fix troublesome issues.

Default iOS 10 Beta on a daily driver?

I running PB2 on both my daily drivers. My personal 6s and business issued 6. Running great and smoother than PB1.

I have not encountered any app issues.

I'm using it as my daily driver and have to say its pretty stable. I do notice a few things that upset me.
1.) YouTube randomly freezes and also once I click on a channel the search bar goes missing so I have to close the app, re open it to get it back.

    2) Netflix screencast does work so now im forced to plug my phone into my tv like an animal.

I have noticed that Beta 3 is a battery hog on my iPhone 6s Plus as well as Apple Watch. Huge battery hog on both. Otherwise nice and speedy.

I noticed the wallpapers appear darker like a black filter is on top or behind menu icons in iOS 10. Not sure if that was in design or not

@Ledsteplin has seen the same thing. I'm wondering if it's to help make the icons pop. I'd love a darkening or even blur slider for the home screen.

Default iOS 10 Beta on a daily driver?

I noticed battery life on the Dev Beta 3 is a hit or miss, some days it's very good and some days it's not so good. Not sure why, but overall having Dev Beta 3 on my Daily Driver isn't that bad...I welcome the opportunity.

Mine cleared up unexpectedly before the beta 2 update.

Battery life also bad on iPhone 6, oh well to be expected as its a beta.
    Back to 9.3.3 for me.

iOS 10 shaping up nicely though 😀

It's slow, app drawer freezes for around 5 minutes and the animations are beyond slow and horrible. All my apps freeze like crazy.

Dev beta 3 has its quirks but I find it's just fine on a daily driver as long as you are willing to deal with a hiccup here and there. The biggest problem I've noticed is the app switcher will lock up at times, but it's getting to be less with each beta.

The app switcher does freeze from time to time, but it's not that extreme to keep me from using iOS 10 beta on my daily driver. I'm not having problems with my apps freezing like crazy, actually only one app is not working out of my 400+ apps. May I suggest a reinstall of iOS 10 Dev Beta 3 or maybe try iOS 9.3.3.
