Hello, I am coming back to iOS, what have I missed the past three years?

I moved from iOS to Windows Phone about three years ago. Due to changes at work and a lack of high end hardware I am back on iOS. I was pretty active over at WPCentral over the years and was even an ambassador for a time. Since the community over there was so good I hope the same is true here.

Any new tricks iOS 8 can do that 6 could not? I have already found the family share option and that's fantastic and it made me think I must be missing others
