You will enjoy it, as they say you just start with an iPhone. Macs and iPads usually follow after that along with Apple TV, etc. welcome to the family!
Apple built it, so it will work.Thanked by:bradenfontaine (02-25-2013)

First Apple product arriving tomorrow
I went backwards, started with a MBA only for video processing. Soon after I got an ipad2, then a MBP all the while having and Android and WP.
I just got my iPhone 5 3 weeks back and really liking it so far.
To the OP, enjoy and have fun.

First Apple product arriving tomorrow
I started with an iPhone 3G, then a 4, then an iPad, then a 4S and now a rMBP. In a few years my household went from 0 Apple products, to an iPhone 5 & 4S, an iPad (old ones sold and upgraded to the latest), 2 iPod Nanos, an iPod touch, 2 iPad minis, 2 Apple TVs, and the rMBP. Not all mine, of course, as I'm married with 2 kids. We do still have a Win7 PC because my husband is a gamer.
Gremlins…that's a good explanation for it!! - 02-26-2013, 08:25 AM #18
Re: First Apple product arriving tomorrow
Hope you enjoy it! Give it a whirl before you decide if you like it or now. Id like to know what you'll think about the iphone keyboard vs android keyboards. Just curious!

Did you get your new iPhone 5 yet? if so first impressions and although you seemed well versed in other phone, iPhone does have a bit of a different OS to it but easy learning curve. If you need anything please ask us for help and we will make the ownership of your new iPhone as pleasurable as possible.

First Apple product arriving tomorrow
First impressions, build quality is superb. Keyboard is better at figuring out what my clumsy fingers intended to press. Liking the weight, but wishing it was slightly thicker, not a major complaint. Operating system feels very fluid.
Only had it in my hand since I got off work, I will update after more time using her.

First Apple product arriving tomorrow
I feel as if I'm going to break it. I'm jaded and worrisome. Use to buttons breaking over time and becoming less responsive. My old HTC was the worst. And my previous Razr Maxx was showing signs of wear after less than a year.
But, the build quality feels solid.
I haven't had much time to see the battery life, I know it will be a major change coming from the Razr Maxx, but I've already got a desktop dock on the way.
The App Store is something that will take some getting use to as well.
I do miss the widgets on android, and the seamlessly infinite customization you could do with it... But I need something that simply works when I need it to, and I think this will.

Re: First Apple product arriving tomorrow
In about two weeks, you will forget customizing and widgets, and be glad you have a solid working OS

First Apple product arriving tomorrow
I came from 3 Androids and 2 WPs and I do have to say I still miss just being able to glance at my calendar and see what meetings I have for the day.
My iPhone 5 is three weeks hold and I am slowly getting used to it.

First Apple product arriving tomorrow
I was one of those people who flashed every custom ROM under the sun and loved it. I was always looking for ways to improve my device and its layout and I was never satisfied. When I purchased my 4S, it was exactly what I needed. I am content with it. It's not jailbroken and will never be jailbroken as long as I own it. I enjoyed my Android devices and don't regret buying them, but the iPhone is where it's at for me.
