It's the same process that creates the difference in space gray, silver, and gold. Probably paid a small fortune to have the aluminum anodized a different color. From the way it looks, it doesn't appear to be a simple skin to me. Could be wrong though.

I have friends who install different back home plates like this, they fix iPhones. It doesn't cost much. In the US you can find someone in any city to do it. It's around $150-$200+ depending on the person.


This guy here is in Atlanta, and he does phones for everyone. Mostly celebs now because he's well known around here. He's getting 6 Plus housing soon! I can't wait.

I've been having custom plates on my iPhone's for years. I just didn't switch the gold on my 5s; but my 6+ will be changed in a few months. Lol
