iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
It's really good. I hated the first version and didn't like to even try and use it. This one, however, is amazing. It's almost better than even browsing the full site on desktop. On issues here. If I find any, I'll be sure to report.

iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
Speed was a big factor. I also had issues with the old app not showing newly posted articles until 2-3 hours after online posting. Both of those issues are fixed. The new article view is also much improved. Comment viewing and adding is a big plus, too. Y'all did a great job and I look forward to seeing more as the updates roll.

Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
What I enjoy thus far, is the speed of the app, easy maneuvering, easy commenting and the ease in which I can increase or decrease the font size. What I dislike thus far is not being able to maintain the size of the font from article to article. If I increase the size of the font while viewing one article, the font reverts back to its default when I select to read another article.

Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
So far after playing for about an hour with that app I think the team did a fantastic job on 2.0.
I have to agree with another poster on here that the font size going back to default from one article to another after setting it to a larger size is annoying but i know it will be addressed in the next update. Overall though 5 stars to the team and app. - 03-08-2013, 07:32 PM #15
Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
Hi. Enjoying the app so far.
Using the app and a couple of issues. First testing on 4G LTE. I try to log on in the more section under accounts I enter my info and it sits there with the spinning wheel for several minutes until I cancel and go back and then I notice the login button now says logout. I am not sure if I am truly logged in. Next, making a comment, I have tried and have not been able to find my comment in the comment section to review, we will see if this one fares better. Third, again on an LTE network and the stories and comments taking +++ time to load. Not as quick as on your video. Last a suggestion for down the road, imore is part of mobile nations and I visit all the sites multiple times per day. I currently have an iPhone but was a BB user for many years and still a crackberry fan. What I am getting at is since you are all in a partnership network why not make app for the different OS's that allow one to move between the sites, view content and make posts. That would make this app killer for me.
Tried to post in comment section of the post and it said currently not allowing comments on this content???? When posting here I accidentally pressed subscribe so pushed back button but rather than coming back here it sent me two levels back to the original post.
Just trying to be helpful. Thanks. - 03-08-2013, 07:38 PM

Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
Feature Request: I'd love for you guys to come up with a way to if I click on a Twitter link from Rene that links to iMore, it opens the app, not the website on my phone if I have the app.
That may not even be technically possible, but it'd be cool.

iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
The same thing happened to me initially, but yes, you are indeed logged in.
I don't know what to tell you because my comments were available for viewing right after i posted them. ...(snipped)Next, making a comment, I have tried and have not been able to find my comment in the comment section to review, we will see if this one fares better. - 03-09-2013, 11:35 AM #20
Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
Bug report: if a URL in a comment is long enough that it gets truncated in the web view, the app uses the truncated text, and not the hyperlink, and that results in broken links from the app.
Feature request: visually distinctive threading in comments, to be able to tell at a glance who is responding to whom, like you can in the web view. - 03-09-2013, 12:27 PM #21
Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
I found when I posted to this feedback string there was another login request. It did not take me to the login through the app but to one that was similar to login with the browser. Once that login attempt was complete the post was added. Not sure why it did that. I have tried to login to the app a few times today and same hang for a few min. I am using my Mobile nations info. Will try commenting on other posts and see if it was just slow for traffic volume reasons. Thanks for the reply.

iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
Feature request: Can you incorporate a way for us to view live iMore shows via the iMore app as well as a notification alerting us to live shows that are about to begin?

Re: iMore app 2.0 feedback and bug reports
Still not able to log on to the app and make comments from the app. Have tried logging in from the Accounts section and also directly from the comments section as outlined in the post about how to make comments with the app. Still error message. Is this an issue for more people than just me? It seems like everyone else is okay so is there an issue with my log in? I am able to log on and post with my computer so I would imagine it is okay...
