Either attachments have recently changed to not be viewable by guests, or the recent Tapatalk update has broken viewing attachments. For some reason it currently does not use the login session cookie to download the pictures, so I see this, for example:

If you want images to be displayed to guests you need to choose the option to the right that says "Tapatalk hosted". If you choose forum hosted only people that log in can see the image... This image is hosted by Tapatalk so everyone should be able to view it.

I've had a different kind of problem hosting on Tapatalk...sometimes the images go 404

it happens to me too, but not just on iMore's forums, it's happening to me on Mac Rumors and EverythingiCafe forums too.
