    T-Mobile has announced that customers who purchase iPhone and iPads with the carrier will be eligible for AppleCare services through T-Mobile's Premium Device Protection plan.

    The last line in the article states the following: "AppleCare protection is available for T-Mobile customers now." Unless I missed something g, AppleCare protection is available to Apple product users, regardless of carrier, and AppleCare Plus can be purchased for Apple products, regardless of carrier.
