I think it's definitely worth it, but it's just my point of view.

The lack of ports is an issue at this point where there's not enough USB-C devices. Definitely a great future product. Personally, I would still upgrade.

Apple MacBook Pro (2016) vs MacBook Pro (2015)

Both models offer 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes
Both models offer same resolution
MacBook Pro (2016) is brighter with better contrast and colour
Both models and sizes claim to offer 10 hours of web play
The 15-inch MacBook Pro (2016) with Touch Bar offers better graphics
MacBook Pro (2016) is all-around thinner and lighter compared to predecessor

If you want to spend 500$/€ more for a slightly better MBP go for it.
