This is the most exciting announcement, but I have an amazing t-mobile unlimited data contract that I dont want to give up - wonder if I can still get the upgrade?

Apple Store Support chat told me a credit check would not be required for the upgrade program. They said "You will qualify!" Can this be confirmed?

I'm just hoping Verizon wireless employees will be able to do this program

Yeah but I bought my last phone full freight from Apple last year. I was able to activate it without issue. That might be the sticking point- as long as they don't have to activate it I should be good. Apple I don't believe can access Verizon employee accounts.
