Instagram adds landscape and portrait formats, showcases with new Star Wars mini-trailer

Instagram has added support for both landscape and portrait formats in its popular photo and video sharing app. It used the new landscape feature to help debut a new mini-trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Anyone having issues not being able to find the icon that allows you to switch to portrait or landscape mode? I checked out the Instagram help article, but the icon that they reference is not on my phone. I have the latest version and I've uninstalled and reinstalled just to make sure. I've also contacted Instagram support, but I have not heard back. Ideas?

I'm not real sure but I clicked on a landscape picture and it just worked.
