    Default Apple Watch orders move to 'preparing for shipment' as customer cards start being charged

    Apple has started charging customers who pre-ordered the Apple Watch and order statuses have begun changing from "processing" to "preparing for shipment."

    A number of Twitter users reported that their credit cards had started being charged for their Apple Watch pre-orders earlier today, and the charges were quickly followed up with order statuses changing to "preparing for shipment."
