Apple TV is the official launch partner for the new HBO Now streaming service

As part of Apple's "Spring Forward" press event, the company announced that its Apple TV set-top box will be the exclusive launch partner for the new HBO Now streaming service.


HBO Now will launch sometime in April for $14.99 a month, and people who sign up for the service during April will get the first month for free. That will allow users to watch the first episodes of the new season of Game of Thrones.
