    Default Report suggests that Apple Watch was originally envisaged as a health tracker

    The Apple Watch was originally planned to be a health-monitoring device with an array of sensors for tracking blood pressure, heart rate and other vitals, but challenges during the production of the smartwatch which is scheduled to make its debut in April meant that Apple had to remove these features from the retail model, instead focusing on ingratiating Apple Pay.
