    Default 64-bit Google Chrome on OS X now available for beta testers with profile switching

    Google will release a fairly substantial update for its Chrome web browser on OS X, finally upgrading the popular software from 32-bit to 64-bit architecture, something Macs have been supporting for some time now. The search giant has published a beta of the 64-bit version of Chrome, following the stable update on Windows with the same new feature.
