Nest halts sales of Nest Protect smoke alarm over safety issue

Nest has put a halt to sales of their connected Nest Protect smoke detector over concerns that the alarm could be unintentionally deactivated.

Any company can have their issues but I am surprised since they have become so successful with their WI-FI AC and heat thermostat that an ex Apple engineer started and it is a very good unit. It can be bought all over including Apple stores. i have one and it learns as it goes depending on your likes and I love mine, It is very coo and has not failed me yet. i am sure they will have their smoke alarms back in no time.
