why can i get imessages on my iphone with wifi

I have wifi and it is working fine but I cant get imessage. When I turn off the imessage and then turn it back on it still wont work and when I go to send and receive to make sure its on my number it wont click on it.

Try rebooting your iPhone or resetting the network settings.
