Deleted iMessages on iPad will auto delete on iPhone?

If I delete messages from my iPad?? are they going to be deleted from the iPhone too?? Since I have the Imessage On..

yes they are under the same account..

No. You would have to delete them manually in the Messages app. Even removing the account from the device will do nothing. They'll still be stored on both devices.

Same with the iphone and imac, I have both on the same icloud account but I have to delete the messages in each device ....

I find this kinda of good .. Sometime I clear threads on my phone but later on realize I needed that info etc and then I have my ipad that has all the conversations still kind of like a archive .. I don't message very much from my ipad so it's kind of cool to have a record of everything if needed

Some times they delete from all iOS devices & Macs & some time they don't.
Some times they delete from two out of three & some times they don't.
I sure hope this inconsistent behavior is resolved in iOS8
