iMessage Alert Tones

I purchased a new text tone from iTunes. Works great when I receive a SMS text message. However, if I receive an iMessage, I get no tone at all. However, if I switch to a stock tone, I recieve the tone for both SMS and iMessage.

Anyone else see this or know of a fix?

Ok problem solved... I simply disabled iMessages, changed the tone to the purchased one and re-enabled iMessages again.. All working now.
