Upgrading to the new Magic Mouse

I've been using the original Apple Magic Mouse since 2010 with my iMac and I'm considering upgrading to the latest revised model. I've read that the new Magic Mouse slides smoother on the desktop and has buttons that are easier to click than the original model. Can someone please confirm this? Thanks.

Nothing to compare too, BUT my 2015 has the new mouse and I LOVE it!

I also upgraded to the newer Magic Mouse 2 which is rechargeable along with the Magic Keyboard and I love them both.
