Hi, how to convert text into audio MP3 files in Mac OS X EI Capitan , Version 10.11.5

I want my text message to be converted to an MP3 file so i can listen to it whenever i want. Please guide how to do it.

I suppose you can enable the "Speak Screen" option in the Accessibility settings, and then use another device to record what is being spoken, and then have that audio converted to .mp3 using iTunes, but I'm only guessing.
