Hello,
I was a .Mac user, and as a result I currently have 2 different Apple ids setup in my iPhone. When I setup any iOS device, I use my .Mac email as my iCloud login, and a different id (also the old format non-email type) as my iTunes login.
All Appstore purchases are done with my iTunes id, all my iCloud sync is done with my .Mac id. I want to setup 2 Factor authentication, but don't want to mess things up (they are confusing enough with 2 Apple ids). Is there any guidance from Apple as to which one should I use for setting up 2 factor auth?
I've been waiting for years for Apple to allow merging of Apple ids, but I'm not holding my breath since I'm definitely in the minority here.
Thanks!
