Trouble accessing photos from icloud for windows

I have no apple devices any longer but Im having trouble accessing the photos on icloud for windows on my pc. Icloud for windows downloaded, entered correct user name and password but the screen then takes me into the section I need but then asks me to sign in again using an apple device. I need to get those photos as they are of my wedding day. Please help

Login to the iCloud website via a web browser on your PC to get the pics. If you've set up 2-step authorization, then yes, you will need your I-device to receive the authorization code. If you have a backup code to enter, use it. If you do not, there is NOTHING that any of us can do for you regarding this matter.
